Just before Wings could have started the third race of the Short Track Slalom on the Day 4 of the WISSA 2016, the ice of the Lake Võrtsjärv was not co-operating with the organizers anymore. Ice cracked on the Sleds/Wings race course just between the start and finish area creating a large open cleavage in between and leaving some race officials on the other side of it. Luckily all competitors and race officials were saved and nothing dramatic happened. But the WISSA Worlds 2016 had to end there to keep all participants safe and secure. Despite of all jokes what the weather and Jack Frost did have in store for the organizers this week, the event was a success and the number of races close to maximum were executed to all classes.
